1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SYR1 Unofficial ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Site.

2. Description of Service

SYR1 Unofficial is a community-run blog and newsletter created by and for Amazon SYR1 associates in Clay, NY. The Site provides a platform for sharing news, stories, tips, and other community content. SYR1 Unofficial is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries.

3. User Accounts

Access to certain features requires signing in through Discord OAuth. By creating an account, you agree that:

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You will not share your session or attempt to access another user's account.
• You must have a valid Discord account in good standing. If your Discord account is suspended or terminated, your access to the Site may also be affected.
• We reserve the right to assign roles (e.g., Member, Writer, Editor, Moderator, Operator) that determine your permissions on the Site.

4. User-Generated Content

You may submit content including comments, blog posts, and media uploads ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you:

• Grant SYR1 Unofficial a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store your User Content on the Site.
• Represent that you own or have the right to submit the content.
• Acknowledge that your content may be moderated, edited, or removed at the discretion of site moderators or operators.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Contains personal information of others without their consent.
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of any party.
• Contains malware, spam, or phishing attempts.
• Violates Amazon's confidentiality policies or discloses proprietary business information.
• Impersonates another person or entity.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, branding, and original content are the property of SYR1 Unofficial. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Site's original content without permission. User Content remains the intellectual property of the respective authors, subject to the license granted in Section 4.

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Content on the Site represents the views of individual contributors and does not represent the views of Amazon.com, Inc. or SYR1 facility management.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SYR1 Unofficial and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of employment opportunities, or damages resulting from reliance on content posted on the Site.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the community. Banned users may have their content hidden or removed. You may also request to have your account and associated data deleted by contacting a site operator.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
